At one month pregnant, the uterus is still relatively small and resembles a pear in shape. It is expanding to accommodate the developing embryo, but it's not yet visibly enlarged outside the pelvis. The lining of the uterus thickens to support the pregnancy, and the overall size is comparable to that of a fist. Generally, it remains well-protected within the pelvic cavity at this early stage.
