Who invented BBCOR?

BBCOR, which stands for Bat-Ball Coefficient of Restitution, was developed by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the early 2000s. The standard was introduced to create a more level playing field between wooden and non-wooden bats by regulating the performance of non-wood bats in Baseball and softball. The BBCOR standard aims to reduce the trampoline effect of the bat, ensuring safer play and maintaining competitive balance.
