Eat plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables, lean meats and fish. Cut back or eliminate processed foods and the associated additives, avoid most oils and fats especially animal fats but DO include moderate amounts of unprocessed vegetable oils such as olive oil. Also avoid processed carbohydrates such as sugars and starches.
