Charlemagne died in 1813 and was buried in Aachen, which is in Northern Germany, near the west side of the Belgium border. He was buried with a book (known as a codex), that listed all of his history as pertained to his family and the Catholic church and all of his terrible deeds. The book was written in English, Latin, and Greek.
