Does PetSmart really abuse their animals?

That is just phony baloney. I got a hamster from Petsmart and he is the most sweetest thing ever. He is still sort of squirms when he is held but when I hold him to my chest he's calm. He has also been with me since January and he showed no signs of illness. He runs on his wheel every night and grooms himself frequently. I had a hamster before him. Her name was Laney. She/he died three days later in her/his sleep. I think it was wet tail, dehydration or lack of food. She hardly ever ate or drank. Also when I went to go get Laney the employee was so nice. She handled Laney nicely, she smiled all the time and she even offered me to hold Laney. Does this sound like a person who abuses animals to you. The people doing this stuff are just ignorant people. Also Rhino (my hamster right now) never bites me. I can't believe these people, giving Petsmart a bad rep like that, JUST SICK.
