When you know that you've pretty much ruined your chances with someone is it best to move on or try?

It depends. How did you ruin your chance? I was so afraid of him rejecting me, that I rejected him first. I think he was trying to get me to open up to him, but I keep pushing him away, and I think he's done now. The situation is kind of complicated. I'm not even sure if he liked me. I had this feeling that he did, but I wasn't certain. I guess that's the reason why I kept pushing him away. I was afraid that I was wrong, and that he didn't like me after all.
