What are the parts of ball peen hammer?

The ball peen hammer has a wooden shaft, generally 12 " long,and a steel head with a round flat face for hitting nails and on the opposing end an elongated face of about 1/8 wide, 1/2 long. This part is the peen, and is intended for striking tacks and other small nails with large heads.
