What are the best places around the world to surf and why?

Its imposible to surf in the Golf of Mexico, couse there isn't any waves over there, if you want to surf go to the pacific of Mexico Sayulita, la ticla, zipolite, there are like 10 in total, in fact a lot of guys from Canada and USA are over there for the winter.
