Most likely yes, although the importance of ghosts in the culture is unknown. The Hebrew Bible contains few references to ghosts, associating spiritism with forbidden occult activities (Deuteronomy 18:11).

The most notable reference is in the Book of Samuel (I Samuel 28:3-19), in which a disguised King Saul has the Witch of Endor summon the spirit of Samuel.
