Every year in Uganda, children are kidnapped, given a gun and forced to shoot their parents or others, or sent into the sex trade. Nearly ten years ago, American Colby Brown met a boy who slept with hundreds of others who had been kidnapped but had escaped, and were afraid of being taken again. Brown made a promise that he would stop the man who made these crimes. This man was Joseph Kony. Brown went to the government but when the government did not think that the cause was worthy of helping, he gathered hundreds of Americans to help protest. In 2010, U.S. President Barack Obama agreed to help find and arrest joseph kony. But in order for the Americans who are over there to stay, we need to let the U.S. government know.
