Thomas J. Meskill (born January 30, 1928 in New Britain, Connecticut; died October 29, 2007 in Florida) succeeded John M. Dempsey as the sixty-seventh Governor of Connecticut, serving between January 6, 1971 and January 8, 1975, including the whole of 1973.
