According to the Bible what are the requirements for priesthood?

Biblical requirements for priesthood relate only to the Old Testament, and are not specified in the New, but bishops were required to be "the husband of one wife". It is not clear if this meant one wife rather than more than one, or not a widowed, remarried man, or not a celibate (presumably younger) man. At the outset of Christianity, the distinction between priests and laity as currently understood did not really exist. Nowadays, canon law (Canon 1024) stipulates that a candidate for the priesthood must be a baptised male. The late Pope John Paul 2 attempted to stop all discussion of this, but the issue of OW (Ordination of Women) is still contentious for some.
