Why was British so successful in expanding its control of increasing parts of the sub continent between 1750 and 1850?

Mughals were in decline leaving the sub continent in chaos for the hand over of power to new rulers.

British took advantage and being superior in wealth and technology took over.

the Indians cheated their men for wealth they exploited local rulers by bribing their cheifs to win any war.
