Its printed in the product's label. But what disturbs me most is "silicone emulsion" included as an ingredient. If we take a closer look on the usage, it has a wide variety of applications that include: lubricant for latex rubber, release agent for plastic molds, mold release agent for aluminum foil pans, release agent for plastic cups, release agent for molding plastic trays and containers, anti-friction lubricant for sewing thread & sewing needle. May I ask another if "silicone emulsion" is not hazardous to our health?

Silicone emulsion is as safe to eat as properly handled wax. The body simply expels it along with waste. It has basically no flavor of its own.

At most in high doses it may cause diarrhea as a laxative but would need to be consumed in much higher doses than what is typically used per serving (or even per 10 servings).

Use in industrial applications as a lubricant is often an attempt to be "eco friendly" as the alternatives are often caustic chemical substances. Or it is used on products at risk of contact with the mouth (such as gloves) because it is a relatively safe choice. This is the same reason its used as a release agent when molding aluminum pans for cooking because any residue left behind is food grade safe.

Its use in drinks has gained recent acceptance with thicker drinks in plastic bottles which risk sticking to the insides. Thus it is commonly added to yogurt and fruit drinks to make them easier to drink. (imagine trying to drink a yogurt drink and it sticks to the sides like old ketchup bottles used to)
