What religion is Green Day?

Billie Joe Armstrong doesn't really have a religion. He's not LDS (for sure), Protestant, or anything like that.

He does believe that there is a God, so basically that would make him a Christian, but not a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I read up on Yahoo what his religion was and he said that the religion that he is actually close enough to is Catholicism (Catholic). He is a Christian just because he believes in God. Anybody that believes in God is considered a Christian but not a Mormon.
