What is a military dictatorship?

A military dictatorship is a type of government where there military holds political power. There is no attention to public opinion or individual rights, i.e. if someone where to disagree with the military they'd be arrested and probably killed.

Example of a military Dictatorship:

Burma (Myanmar) - which is starting to improve its ways with the release of elected female Aung San Suu Kyi who was put under house arrest for 15 years by the military when she was elected into parliament.
