What is the speech chain?

Speech chain illustrates how one's thoughts/ideas are conceived and delivered to another individual through channels/medium in a more scientific and technical manner. It involves 5 phases - Linguistic Level (Speaker Side), Physiological Level (Articulatory), Acoustic Level, Physiological Level (Auditory), and Linguistic Level (Listener Side).
