Who is Chelsea manning?

Chelsea Manning is a former U.S. Army intelligence analyst who gained international attention in 2010 after leaking classified documents to WikiLeaks, which included military reports and diplomatic cables. Initially known as Bradley Manning, she came out as transgender in 2013 and legally changed her name. Manning was convicted in 2013 and sentenced to 35 years in prison, but her sentence was commuted by President Barack Obama in 2017.
