Odysseus and his men finally escape from the Cyclops Polyphemus by using their cunning and resourcefulness. After blinding the Cyclops with a sharp stake, they hide under the sheep as Polyphemus lets them out to graze. Once they are safely outside the cave, Odysseus cleverly reveals his identity, inciting Polyphemus to curse them, but they manage to sail away before the Cyclops can catch them. This clever strategy allows them to evade their captor and continue their journey home.
