Yellow bleached hair is raw. At the salon the hair gets bleached to a brassy yellow color, then a toner is applied. This toner has a purple/blue tint that cuts the yellow, and depending on how much you use the blonde can appear white.

Now everyday cheap items?

There are toning conditioners that help with this but they're usually on the pricey sie from the salon.

What you need to do is make toner.

I do this. I use conditioner, and a semi-permanent violet hair color. (Punky Color/ Manic Panic/Fudge) Some drugstores carry these, and many alternative shops do as well. You have to look around. What you want is something in a little jar that you can use a little bit of and store. You don't want something that you have to mix parts.

In a dish mix a lot of conditioner (like 1/2 cup) and then add the purple dye to it. CAREFUL though you don't want to dye your hair purple you just want to kinda sorta tint it. Start with a drop-2 drops of the dye and see how it goes. VERY LITTLE. This is why you want dye you can store and reuse. Experiment to see how much purple to the conditioner is necessary. Remember you can always add more purple to cut the yellow, but too much purple means you better break out the shampoo and start going to town until you can get the purple to fade to a nice white blonde.

I know Manic Panic does offer a White toner. I just prefer to mix my own because its much cheaper.
