How do you replace headlight on 2006 VW Beetle?

All of the new beetles have a slide inside the engine compartment on each side by the fender,push it down and then you have to slide the light assembly out it is quite long so don't think you are doing anything wrong,then you take the lens loose and change the bulb,do not touch the bulb with your hands use a cloth or paper towel.If you touch it it will cause it to blow faster.when you get the bulb replaced put the lens back and then you have to get each side of the part you slid out back in the channel to push it back in position.There is a slide on each side of the part and on each side of the hole you are putting it back into.When back in position then push the slide back down inside the engine compartment.
