Where did Mahavira attained renunciation?

Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism, attained renunciation at the age of 30 in the region of Vaishali, located in present-day Bihar, India. After renouncing worldly life, he embarked on a path of deep meditation and asceticism, ultimately achieving Kevala Jnana, or absolute knowledge.
