Where is fort summer?

Fort Sumter is located in Charleston Harbor, South Carolina, USA. It is historically significant as the site where the first shots of the American Civil War were fired on April 12, 1861. The fort is now a National Monument and can be accessed by ferry from downtown Charleston.
