If your dash lights are out you probably have one of two problems. The first is that they have been inadvertently turned off. On the panel where you turn the headlights off and on you should find a knob or lever that you can move or rotate. This knob or lever dims or brightens your dash lights and if you go far enough will turn on the overhead light. The other possibility is a blown fuse. Under the hood you will find a fuse box. When you remove the cover inside the lid you will find a diagram of what each fuse is used for. Find the one that says inst lmps and locate it among the fuses. You can pull it straight out and check it to see if its blown. If you don't feel comfortable doing this, go to your local auto parts store and they will help you as part of their customer relations and to sell you the new fuse. Good luck.
