Where does the kit fox fit in the food chain?

The kit fox is a carnivore and its prey is usually birds and small mammals but it wont hesitate if a free feel arises and will scavage for food is neccessary. Other larger animals may hunt it, but it is a very solitary animal and finding and catching one to eat would be very difficult.
