In England can you get your belly pierced age 13?

you can get you belly button pierced in Britain at any age as long as you have a parent or an adult to sign the papers for you. I had mine done when i was 11 as my sister signed the forms for me. but be sure to go around your local piercing shops just to be sure, as some shops say that the minimum age they do is 16 whether you have an adult to sign for it or not. before i had mine done, my mum went to the piercing shop with my little sister telling the woman that her daughter wanted her belly-button pieced and the woman thought that my mum had meant my little sister...shes only 7!!!!! but yeah, im now 14 and had a successful healing with no complicaions, if you need to ask me anything else, e-mail me on starsia94@AOL.com!!!
