Why does the LP gas alarm keep going off in your Starcraft pop up camper when the gas is not on?

Many types of gases can set an LP detector off. Hair spray, spray adhesives, dog farts (seriously!). But two other things can make an LP detector make noise. One is the campers battery is getting low. The other is the detector needs to be replaced. Replace it only if you are sure it is not one of the other two problems.
