What happenes to most minor - league umpires?

Most minor-league umpires aspire to advance to the major leagues, but only a small percentage achieve this goal due to the highly competitive nature of professional Baseball. Many umpires gain valuable experience and skills in the minors, and some may eventually transition to other roles within baseball, such as coaching or officiating in different leagues.
