Can 38 Super Auto ammunition be fired in a 357 magnum revolver?

consider its a rimless round thats going to want to drop deep in the chamber and wont reliably fire in any case. If and when you do get a fire the bullet is smaller than expected in any .38 or .357 revolver so accuracy will be bad and the cases will split because they dont fit properly, Besides super .38 Auto cartridges are more expensive
