The Meddow scene is pretty important to the plot in the book. That's where Edward trusts Bella enough to show her what he looks like in the sun light. And that's where u see them both start to trust each other more because Bella lets Edward be alone with her even though he is a blood sucking vampire and she lets him get close to her neck and kiss her neck and she trusts him not to bite her (even though she wants to be a vampire so she can be with him forever <3). And Edward trusts Bella not to be scared of him or do anything like get to close to him or lean in (even though she does but he forgives her)) . Edward also shows Bella what he can really do. Like how fast he can actually run and how strong he is. ==
