Is oxygenated blood pure blood

Oxygenated blood is often referred to as "pure" blood because it is rich in oxygen and has a bright red color, indicating it has completed its journey through the lungs. However, it still contains carbon dioxide and other waste products that need to be transported back to the lungs and kidneys for removal.
