How do you dispose of expired aspirin?

You can just throw them in the trash, but a more responsible route would be to destroy them - either put them through your garbage disposal, blender with a foul tasting liquid, etc.

NO! DON'T put them into the water system as they contaminate our rivers and streams.

They can be returned to a pharmacy, taken to a hazardous waste depot or put in the trash.
