The Subaru Baja was manufactured in the United States at Subaru of Indiana Automotive (SIA) in Lafayette, Indiana. Production of the Baja ran from 2003 to 2006, and it was based on the Subaru Legacy platform. The vehicle was designed to combine the features of a pickup truck with those of a car.
