Why does my 13 year old daughters toes crack so loud as she walks that I can hear her coming into a room before she gets there Asked her DR and he said it is probably because she is growing taller?

There are cases where the ligiments grow faster than the bones, so there is a mismatch for awhile until one or the other catches up. One of my sons had it in his knees (Osgood-Schlatters) and the other had it in one hip. Give it a few months and then visit an Orthopedic doctor.
