Why do parents blame kids for everything that they don't do?

A: they blame kids because usually kidz or teenagers, pre-teens, they usually snoop around in their parents things and sometimes get caught. so when parents see them snooping around they (later) automatically think that for ex. "my movie went missing oh! Steve must have took it", that's just an ex. if any Steve reads , lol! but still that usually the main reason.>
