What is the MLA format?

There are many research paper formatting styles and amongst them MLA format is the most common one, found by the Modern Language Association. MLA format is a formatting style that is easy to use and make it easier for the reader to read and understand the text and infer the references. MLA is widely accepted in most Literature and Humanities field.
