What is the difference of being suspended and being expelled?

Suspended:

"You will be suspended for a month and extra homework with that!"

That's saying He/She will be back to the school..

Expelled:

"You have been expelled from this school! Tomorrow you are allowed to come and pack the rest of your things.."

Packing Things, not good, Expelled..Get it? Got it? Good?
