Why hcl dose in ro plant?

Sulfuric acid is sometimes preferred over HCl since there is a better membrane. A negative 0.2 LSI allows for pH excursions in actual plant to take action, such as adding or increasing the dose of SBS, to reduce the oxidant concentration.
