How do you replace 3rd taillight on 2009 Kia Sportage?

To replace the third taillight on a 2009 Kia Sportage, first, open the rear hatch and locate the access panel on the interior side of the tailgate. Remove the panel by unscrewing or unclipping it to expose the taillight assembly. Disconnect the wiring harness from the taillight, then unscrew the assembly and carefully pull it out. Replace it with the new taillight, reconnect the wiring, and reattach the access panel.
