What effects does the sharingan have?

if u r asking about the side effects of sharingan then it takes a lot of chakra reserves to use the sharingan..........but if the sharingan is mastered to the full ability by an uchiha like itachi or sasuke then the chakra drain can be reduced to the point of a very negligibe amount of chakra ..............but if a non uchiha like kakashi uses sharingan the chakra drain is immense and will affect him greatly..................if u r asking about the powers of the sharingan .............it is one of the three doujutsus other than rinnegan and byakugan........ it literally means copy wheel eye............it can copy all sorts ninjutsu, taijutsu and genjutsu..........it is also a see through eye which can see through almost al genjutsu if trained well...............it has three levels 1st level with one tomoi or star.....2nd level with 2 tomoi or two stars.......and 3rd level with 3 tomoi or 3 stars..............the sharingan also gives color to chakra and can hence see through all techinques......it can also differ between shadow clones from the original ...........
