If you get the battery in your watch changed will it still be waterproof?

Depends on the watch. Some brands of watches, no. There is a small rubber seal around the inside of the watch and the backing and when that is opened the seal no longer works as well. The more expensive the watch the more likely that your watch will be waterproof. I wouldn't take a chance and would take it off while around water.
