How come Mexicans work so hard?

Because the Mexican stereotype is a fallacy: they aren't drunk, lazy people wearing sombreros and riding burritos on the desert. After all, Mexico is the 10th to 13th biggest economy in the world, and by drinking tequila and eating enchiladas, you don't find yourself among the top 15 economies in the world, do you?
