How do you install replacement turn signal for 1999 VW Passat?

Open the hood. Directly behind the turn signal there should be a spring with a hook on the end. Remove the hook from the frame and the light should slide out. Pull the 2 tabs together and the plug will disconnect. To remove the bulb push in on the plastic connector and turn (can't remember which way. Replace in reverse order.
