IS the oil pan plug the same size on a 1998 Honda civic LX as a 1998 Honda civic EX?

The LX has a D16Y7 engine where as the EX has a D16Y8 engine, they have different engines but the oil pan plug from the LX should fit into the EX. The blocks of the engines are the same size 1.6L having the same size oil pans. So the Oil plug should fit without any problems.
