Theme or Concept is evident: What is the theme? How is the theme/concept expressed? Is the theme easy to identify or well-defined?
Presentation of Information: Is the information in the book easy to follow? Is the information in the book accurate or believable? Does the information follow a logical order and is it well-organized?
Development of Plot: Is the plot well-defined? What is the plot? When are the characters introduced?
Characterization: How are the characters developed?
Setting: What is the setting in each book and how does the author let the reader know the setting of the story.
Style of the Author: What is the writing style of the author? What type of vocabulary does the author use? How long or short are their sentences?
