Why do people believe lies?

If you look at I.Q. numbers and averages, you will find the avg I.Q. is 100. There are more uneducated and gullible people in this country then educated and intellitgent. Red states tend to have poorer educational systems. There is a movement in this country and has been so for over 30 years of dumbing down the U.S. This is why we get comments from voters like "keep your goverment hands of my medicare" or "Obama is a Muslim"
