Okay to change the fluid in your torque converter you need a car rack and a transmission jack. but if you have a jacked up truck like me all you need is 3 simple jacks some man power and the right size tools. first you wanna take your jacks and place them on both sides and at the rear of the transmission, then you undo your driveshaft/s. Next you want to take your tranny fluid lines and disconnect them with the right size "line" wrench. once you've taken them off stuff some napkins or something in them to prevent and tranny fluid from coming out. next make sure all other connections to the trannny are disconnected whether they be electrical or mechanical. then finally loosen your crossmember bolts SLOWLY at a steady rate alternating from side to side once undone lower your tranny SLOWLY and make sure it stayed unright . in the bell housing of the tranny theres a big round thing, sometimes with ribs on bigger engine vehicles that is your torque converter. very carefully pull the converter out WITHOUT messing up your torque converter seal because if that messes up you need a puller to replace it. now back to what i was saying once your torque converter is out place a rag or something on top of the spindles that insert on your converter when in place to prevent dirt and grime from getting on them take your converter dump it and refill it with tranny fluid then place back carefully and raise it back up and make all your connections. once done check your fluids and your finished.
