What if you acidently dont eject your ipod and disconect it will it ruin it?

I sometimes use my mom's iPod, I don't really like them, but I've accidentally forgotten to eject the iPod, and nothing really happens to it. Most of the time, as with any USB device, what you've just synced to the device won't get saved. If you just do it once or twice, I'm sure you'll be fine.
