To be a "Quisling" was to betray your own people, after Norwegian fascist Vidkun Quisling and his "fifth column" helped the Nazi Germans invade and take over Norway.

Less well known was Hollander Artur Seyss-Inquardt, who was called "six and a quarter" because his last name was one syllable off from being a homonym for that number in Dutch.
