What are some good colony names?

Most colonies are named after people (like Virginia) or after places the colonists loved back home (like New York, named after York).

If you want to invent a colony name, pick either a famous person in your story, like the king or queen or another sort of famous person, or pick the name of another city in your world and call the colony "New ____."
